The Smart Option

         Verifying patron information before you file a tax document doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, TINCheck makes it simple and surprisingly affordable. Use it as an option included with NWAudit-Compliance and you get:

         • an alert the verification needs to be done
         • verify the social security number
         • normalize the address according to the USPS
         • check watch lists including OFAC, NV black list and MS banned list
         • real time verification to make appropriate decisions

         Once the verification is complete, a supervisor override is necessary to run it again (so you don’t pay for it more than once). TINCheck service is available from New Wave on a per hit basis. It is also available as a stand alone service (not connected to NWAudit). Start using it now to reduce abatement penalties and clean up your patron database as well.
